Role Overview
We are seeking a Front-End Design Engineer who bridges the gap between user experience design and production-grade engineering. In this dual-threat role, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end front-end life cycle from early discovery, wireframing, and interactive prototyping to developing polished, tested, and scalable web interfaces.

You will work directly alongside our AI engineers, software developers, and product leads to transform complex machine learning outputs and multi-step data workflows into clean, intuitive, and highly responsive web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Build: Lead the UX/UI design and front-end development for internal and client-facing web applications.
• User Research & Discovery: Conduct user shadowing, requirement-gathering sessions, and collaborative design workshops to translate complex system needs into functional UI workflows.
• Prototyping: Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes to validate design concepts before execution.
• Component Development: Build production-ready, reusable UI components using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Integration & Collaboration: Partner closely with back-end and AI teams to integrate front-end architectures with Python-based APIs and backend services.
• Quality & Testing: Establish and write automated UI test suites spanning unit, integration, and end-to-end coverage to ensure high reliability.
• Documentation & Standards: Document design decisions, system architectures, and testing strategies while contributing to code and documentation reviews across the team.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years of combined UI/UX design and front-end engineering experience with a portfolio demonstrating both design output and production code implementation.
• Modern Web Stack: Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Design Capabilities: Proven track record in user-centered design, wireframing, prototyping, and design systems.
• Data-Driven Interfaces: Experience designing and implementing interfaces that display complex data structures or multi-step workflows cleanly.
• Testing & Quality: Practical experience writing automated UI testing suites (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Jest).
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git, branching strategies, and modern source control workflows.
• Python Familiarity: Baseline understanding of Python to seamlessly collaborate with our core AI and backend engineering teams.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for giving and receiving constructive design feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with rapid Python prototyping tools like Streamlit.
• Exposure to front-end analytics and telemetry implementation.
• Background working in regulated environments or complex enterprise data domains.
• Experience migrating legacy web applications between modern frameworks.
• Hands-on exposure to mobile application development frameworks.

Pay: Rs150,000.00 per month
