Front-End Developer – 3D Web Experiences

Daedalis is looking for a talented Front-End Developer with hands-on experience building interactive 3D experiences for the web.

We are developing a new generation of enterprise software interfaces and want someone who is comfortable working beyond traditional dashboards, tables and forms.

You should have practical experience with at least one of the following:

• Three.js
• A-Frame

Experience with both is a strong advantage.

What you’ll do

• Build interactive 3D web interfaces and data visualisations
• Develop responsive, high-performance front-end experiences
• Work with Three.js, A-Frame or similar WebGL/WebGPU technologies
• Create and manipulate 3D scenes, objects, cameras, lighting and interactions
• Translate product concepts and design ideas into polished working interfaces
• Integrate 3D components into existing web applications
• Optimise rendering performance across browsers and devices
• Build reusable front-end components and interaction patterns
• Work closely with the founder and development team on rapid product iteration
• Experiment with new ways of presenting complex enterprise and supply-chain data visually

What we’re looking for

You should have:

• Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
• Demonstrable experience with Three.js or A-Frame
• A solid understanding of browser-based 3D rendering
• Experience working with APIs and dynamic application data
• Good knowledge of responsive front-end development
• Strong attention to detail and interaction design
• An ability to take an idea from concept to working prototype quickly
• Confidence debugging performance, rendering and browser compatibility issues
• The ability to work independently in a fast-moving product environment

Experience with React, Vue, WebGL, WebGPU, shaders, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js or related technologies would be advantageous, but is not essential.

What matters most

We care less about formal qualifications and more about what you have actually built.

A portfolio, GitHub profile or examples of interactive 3D projects will carry significant weight.

We are particularly interested in developers who enjoy experimenting with interfaces that make complex information feel intuitive, visual and alive.

Pay: R20 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month

Work Location: Remote
