About the job

As Front-End Developer, you help build critical enhancements to TI.com while creating modern web experiences used by TI customers around the world. You bring strong front-end development skills, full stack experience, and a collaborative mindset to turn user needs, technical constraints, and business goals into scalable, high-quality web solutions. This is an opportunity to shape customer-facing experiences at scale while contributing to the application patterns, integrations, and development standards that support TI.com, our main customer-facing website with millions of visits per year.

We look forward to meeting with you, learning about your experiences, and seeing if we could be a good fit for one another. Our office is conveniently located in downtown Toronto, steps from Union Station. We are all coming into the office regularly while enjoying a flexible work schedule.

In this role you will:

  • Turn UX designs and business needs into scalable, high-quality web solutions.
  • Develop reusable, maintainable application features and implementation patterns.
  • Translate UX and design direction into high-quality, accessible, production-ready code.
  • Collaborate with UX, back-end developers, and partner teams to deliver reliable, production-ready experiences.
  • Support and improve existing application architecture, templates, and shared patterns.
  • Troubleshoot bugs, resolve browser and implementation issues, and help maintain reliable releases.
  • Partner with back-end developers and DevOps teams to support integration, deployment, and issue resolution.
  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and development best practices.
  • Participate in agile team processes including planning, refinement, and delivery discussions.
  • Help strengthen development standards through thoughtful implementation and collaboration across teams.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Education:

  • Examples of shipped front-end work, GitHub projects, or an online portfolio strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience building modern web experiences with strong front-end depth and full stack development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript for interface behavior and user experience.
  • Experience with Thymeleaf in a production environment.
  • Experience building reusable UI components, patterns, or design-system-aligned solutions.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code, to support coding, problem-solving, and development workflows.
  • Comfort working with Node.js, npm, Git, and branch and repository workflows.
  • Familiarity with deployment pipelines, debugging, and cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to align and collaborate with UX, engineering, and partner teams to deliver high-quality experiences.

Nice to have

  • Experience with design systems or pattern libraries.
  • Familiarity with web components, Shadow DOM, or other component-based architectures.
  • Experience contributing to technical documentation, demos, or shared development guidelines.
  • Exposure to DevOps processes and release workflows.
