Frontend Developer

Belfast | Hybrid, 3 days per week in office | Permanent | Equity

This role is Belfast based, with three days per week in the office

My client builds a cloud security platform that helps engineering and security teams find and fix the risks that actually matter across their cloud infrastructure. Their frontend team is pure frontend, no full-stack generalists, and they own the API schema too, so you'll have a real say in how data reaches the UI. They take product seriously and expect the team to champion the user experience and keep design and architecture clean.

What you'll be doing

• Building frontend components end to end, from design through development, testing and maintenance

• Working day to day in React, TypeScript and WebGL on complex, high-performance interfaces

• Defining API schemas with the teams you integrate with

• Contributing to technical and architectural decisions

• Running design and code reviews

• Improving the efficiency, scalability and stability of the product

What you'll need

• 3+ years of frontend engineering with React and TypeScript

• Experience designing APIs

• Experience with CI/CD

• A genuine eye for user experience and design quality

• Able to be in the Belfast office three days per week

Nice to have

• WebGL or other graphics and visualisation experience

• Experience building data-heavy or complex product interfaces

• Exposure to cloud or security products
