Front-End Engineering, Design & Project Coordinator

Role Purpose:
To support Mobility project delivery by contributing to Front-End Engineering (FED), basic engineering design, and Project Management coordination. This role assists in preparing technical designs, project planning, and execution tracking while developing engineering and project management capabilities.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Front-End Engineering & Design Support
   Assist in feasibility studies, site surveys, and technical data collection
   Prepare and update basic engineering drawings (layout plans, as-built, mark-ups)
   Support conceptual design and preliminary layout development
   Assist in cost estimation and quantity take-offs (BOQ)
   Coordinate design inputs with internal teams and external consultants
   Ensure designs align with standards, specifications, and site conditions
2. Project Management Support
   Assist in project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking
   Support budget monitoring and cost tracking
   Coordinate with contractors and vendors for site execution
   Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation
   Follow up on action items and timelines
3. Coordination & Stakeholder Support
   Act as a coordination point between engineering, operations, and contractors
   Support meetings, prepare MOM (Minutes of Meeting), and track deliverables
   Assist in permit documentation and submission follow-up
4. Learning & Development
   Develop skills in engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar)
   Gain exposure to FED processes and project lifecycle
   Participate in site visits, inspections, and project reviews
   Build awareness in HSSE, quality, and compliance standards

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Architecture, or related
• Diploma or coursework in Design, Drafting, or Project Management – Advantage
• Technical Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of engineering drawing and design principles
  • Familiar with AutoCAD or similar design software (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of BOQ and cost estimation (advantage)
• Professional Certifications (Optional):
  • Basic Project Management training
  • AutoCAD / design software certification (advantage)
  • Safety training (HSSE awareness)
• Experience:
  • At least 5 years in engineering, design, project management or project environment
  • Experience in construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas is a plus
• Core Competencies:
