Front-end Lead

Job Overview:

As a Frontend Team Lead - Angular, you will act as the engineering anchor for a streamaligned product team. You will be responsible for designing scalable frontend architecture, mentoring engineers, driving technical excellence, and ensuring successful delivery of enterprise-grade web applications.

You will work closely with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams to build highly performant, secure, and maintainable frontend systems using modern Angular, React, and cloud-native frontend technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of frontend developers.

2. Own end-to-end delivery of frontend projects (Design Development Deployment Maintenance).

3. Design and architect scalable, high-performance frontend systems using Angular.

4. Drive best practices in frontend architecture, coding standards, security, performance optimization, and accessibility.

5. Provide architectural direction for component design, state management, and application structure.

6. Reduce technical debt and improve application reliability and performance.

7. Collaborate closely with backend, product, design, QA, and DevOps teams.

8. Conduct detailed code reviews and enforce engineering quality standards.

9. Guide the team on micro-frontend architecture and modular UI design.

10. Lead frontend CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.

11. Participate in technical planning, sprint reviews, architectural discussions, and roadmap planning.

12. Promote adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, etc.).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science / IT or related field.

• Strong hand-on experience in:

• Angular (v14+ preferably v18+)

• TypeScript

• HTML5, CSS3, SCSS

• Strong Understanding of:

• Frontend architecture and large-scale UI systems

• REST API integration

• State management (NgRx, Akita, Redux, or equivalent)

• JWT-based authentication & role-based access control

• Performance optimization and memory management

• Good working knowledge of:

• React.js and modern React ecosystem (hooks, functional components, state

management)

• Experience with:

• Micro-frontend architecture

• Responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

• Agile/Scrum environments

• Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines

• Strong problem-solving, architectural thinking, and leadership skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration ability.

Good to Have:

• Experience deploying frontend apps on AWS (S3, CloudFront, EC2, Amplify)

• Exposure to Docker and containerized frontend deployments

• Knowledge of Kubernetes-based frontend delivery pipelines

• Experience with performance monitoring and observability tools

• Exposure to design systems and UI governance

• Familiarity with AI-driven frontend development workflows
