Front End Lead – Fadez & Bladez Midlothian

Fadez & Bladez Barbershop is looking for a strong, people-first Shop Manager to help lead daily operations across one of our high-volume locations! (Mechanicsville, Midlothian and Glen Allen)

This is not a behind-the-chair role—this is for someone who thrives in leadership, communication, and keeping a fast-paced shop running smoothly while supporting a team of talented barbers.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be the heartbeat of the shop—making sure everything runs efficiently while creating a positive, professional environment for both staff and clients.

-Greet clients and manage check-in/check-out flow

-Book, confirm, and manage appointments throughout the day

-Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked shop

-Oversee inventory, product ordering, and supply levels

-Manage towel rotation, sanitation, and shop standards

-Support daily operations and keep the team on track during busy shifts

-Communicate clearly with staff—giving direction, feedback, and support

-Learn each team member’s personality and coaching style to lead effectively

-Help maintain a high-energy, team-focused culture. This is HUGE with us!

This role is all about people and presence. You don’t need to be a barber—but you do need to know how to lead.

-Strong communication skills (clear, professional, and confident)

-Natural leadership ability with a kind but direct approach

-Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume environment

-Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

-Comfortable giving feedback and holding a team accountable

-Positive attitude and team-first mindset

-Experience in management, hospitality, or customer service is a plus!
