We are looking for a Front-end Software Engineer to join an international team working on large-scale digital transformation initiatives within European institutions. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of modern web applications supporting procurement, grants, and administrative business processes across complex enterprise environments.

Working in a multicultural and collaborative setting, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, scalable, and user-centric front-end solutions, leveraging modern web technologies and best practices in software engineering, security, accessibility, and performance.

What will you do?

• Design and develop modern front-end architectures for enterprise web applications.
• Create responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
• Implement user interactions and front-end functionalities that enhance user experience and usability.
• Develop reusable components and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to transform wireframes and mock-ups into fully functional user interfaces.
• Build and maintain scalable client-side applications using modern frameworks, state management solutions, and modular architectures.
• Integrate front-end solutions with back-end services through REST APIs.
• Ensure applications comply with security best practices, including authentication, authorization, input validation, and secure data handling.
• Participate in software design activities and contribute to the development of scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Perform unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and validation of software changes.
• Optimize web applications for performance, cross-browser compatibility, and multiple device formats.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing activities.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to requirements analysis, user story refinement, sprint planning, and other Scrum ceremonies.
• Support CI/CD processes and collaborate on build, deployment, and DevOps activities.

What are we looking for?

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3.5 years of hands-on experience with Angular (v12+), TypeScript, and Bootstrap.
• At least 2.5 years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and modern front-end development practices.
• Experience developing complex, modular client-side applications using modern frameworks and state management patterns.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and good knowledge of Java and Node.js.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs.
• Experience with reactive programming using RxJS and state management solutions such as NgRx.
• Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Experience with Web security concepts, including OAuth and OpenID Connect.
• Experience with development and DevOps tools including Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Docker, Jenkins, Bamboo, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools, including Cypress for unit and integration testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Understanding of scalable, modular, and maintainable front-end architectures.
• Knowledge of Micro Frontends is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of BPMN 2.0 and experience in procurement-related IT solutions will be considered advantageous.
• Ability to quickly understand business contexts and contribute with limited supervision.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within international teams.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken). Knowledge of French will be considered an asset.
• Eligible to obtain EU security clearance.
