Job Description

Dumbo Market is seeking a Front End Supervisor to oversee daily front-end operations and provide excellent customer service. This role involves supervising cashiers, supporting checkout operations, resolving customer concerns, and helping maintain an efficient and welcoming store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support front-end associates during daily operations.
• Monitor checkout lanes and ensure accurate transaction processing.
• Assist customers with questions, returns, and service concerns.
• Train and coach team members on customer service and store procedures.
• Handle register issues and support cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain organized and well-stocked checkout areas.
• Coordinate breaks and coverage for front-end staff.
• Help resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently.
• Follow company policies, safety standards, and cash-control procedures.

Requirements

• Previous retail, grocery, cashier, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail and cash-handling skills.
• Reliable, organized, and professional.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
