Civic Center Pharmacy is currently looking for a self-motivated and driven individual to add to our Pharmacy Technician team.

Responsibilities:

· Pharmacy technician shall have knowledge of and follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures

· Standards for accuracy, pharmaceutical elegance and potency shall be consistently met

· Fills, and labels typical retail prescriptions. Answering phone calls, working on the computer and assisting patients as they come into the pharmacy.

· Monitors inventory levels for re-order of depleting inventory or expiring chemicals, and receives additional inventory

· Performs daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning using appropriate disinfectants and techniques

· Performs environmental monitoring and validation testing according to policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements for the Pharmacy Technician opportunity:

· High School Diploma

· PTCB Certification

· Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician with the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy

· Must be friendly, hardworking, adaptable, and proactive

· One Year of Pharmacy Compounding Pharmacy Experience, Sterile and Non-Sterile compounding

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred)
• Pharmacy Technician License (Required)
