Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Front House Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Clover POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and baristas
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and beverage service, while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing, while adhering to cash handling procedures
• Upsell menu items such as wines, spirits, or specialty cocktails to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies
• Assist with food preparation or setup during busy periods or special events, including nightclub or fine dining service

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Yelp waitlist for reservations management
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during busy shifts
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash securely
• Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation practices in the food industry
• Previous experience with food handling, serving, and beverage service in a restaurant or nightclub setting
• Familiarity with food industry standards for cleanliness, food preparation, and guest safety
