Front Manager

About the Position

Budatan is hiring a dependable, organized Front of House Manager to oversee daily front-of-house operations and work directly with the owner.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who can manage staff, create schedules, track inventory, and help recruit and train employees. The ideal candidate takes initiative, communicates clearly, and follows through on responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations and maintain friendly, efficient guest service.
• Supervise hosts, servers, and takeout staff, providing clear direction and support.
• Count front-of-house inventory, track supplies, and prepare restocking orders for owner approval.
• Create weekly staff schedules based on business needs and employee availability.
• Coordinate shift coverage and address attendance concerns promptly.
• Help recruit, interview, onboard, and train new employees.
• Coach employees and consistently enforce restaurant policies and service standards.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and coordinate with the kitchen to resolve service issues.
• Ensure opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work duties are completed correctly.
• Review shift checkout and payment records and report discrepancies.
• Keep the owner informed about staffing, inventory, maintenance, and operational concerns.
• Learn all front-of-house positions and step in when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous restaurant supervisory or management experience required.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, hiring, and training preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to give clear instructions and hold employees accountable respectfully.
• Professional judgment and the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with staff.
• Ability to stay calm and organized during busy shifts.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

$18.00 per hour.
