Front of House

Summary: The Front of House Staff is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience for guests. The position handles guest interactions, order taking, food and beverage service, table management, and other front-of-house activities while maintaining the Company's standards for service, cleanliness, professionalism, and hospitality. The Front of House Staff works closely with the kitchen and management team to ensure that customer orders are accurately received, properly communicated, and served in a timely manner. The position also assists in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining and service areas and supports overall restaurant operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.

• Assist guests with seating arrangements and provide menus when applicable.

• Take and accurately record customer orders and communicate them properly to the kitchen or relevant personnel.

• Provide accurate information regarding menu items, ingredients, promotions, and available products.

• Serve food and beverages to guests in accordance with established service standards.

• Ensure that orders are served accurately, completely, and within the expected service time.

• Monitor assigned tables and attend to guests' requests, concerns, and additional needs.

• Maintain a professional, courteous, and welcoming attitude when interacting with customers.

• Process customer payments accurately and follow proper cash-handling and payment procedures, when assigned.

• Assist in clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables promptly.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, counters, and other assigned areas.

• Immediately communicate customer concerns, complaints, order discrepancies, or service issues to the supervisor or manager.

• Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, restocking, and preparation of service areas.

• Follow all Company policies, restaurant procedures, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.

• Assist in maintaining proper inventory of front-of-house supplies and report shortages or damaged items to the supervisor.

• Support restaurant promotions, events, and other operational activities as assigned.

• Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• At least High School or Senior High School graduate.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in front-of-house operations, customer service, hospitality, food service, or restaurant operations.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Customer-service oriented, friendly, courteous, and professional.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems is an advantage.

• Ability to follow instructions, service standards, and Company policies.

• Strong attention to detail, particularly when taking and processing customer orders.

• Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and appropriately.

• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
