Taco Mama is looking for an experienced Front of House Manager to lead our service team and help us maintain the friendly, consistent, high-quality experience our guests expect.

We are an established, busy independent restaurant with a strong kitchen team, loyal customers, and an experienced staff. We’re looking for a manager who is comfortable taking ownership of the front of the house and leading people with confidence, fairness, and consistency.

What We Need

We need someone who can manage—not simply supervise a shift.

The right person will be able to:

Lead, coach, and hold FOH employees accountable

Set clear expectations and follow through

Maintain consistent service and hospitality standards

Manage scheduling, call-outs, shift coverage, and staffing needs

Train and develop new and existing employees

Oversee opening, closing, side work, cleanliness, and FOH organization

Handle guest concerns professionally and confidently

Work closely with ownership and our kitchen manager

Address problems promptly rather than allowing them to become bigger issues

Create a professional environment while still maintaining the personality and hospitality Taco Mama is known for

Who We’re Looking For

Previous restaurant management experience is strongly preferred.

We’re especially interested in someone who has successfully managed servers, bartenders, hosts, and other FOH employees in a busy restaurant environment.

You should be:

Organized and dependable

Comfortable making decisions

A strong communicator

Consistent with expectations and accountability

Calm under pressure

Willing to have difficult conversations when necessary

Respectful of both FOH and BOH teams

Hands-on and willing to jump in when the restaurant needs you

We’re not looking for someone who wants a management title without the responsibility that comes with it.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in building a strong team and wants to become an important part of an established local restaurant.

Position

Full-time Front of House Manager

Compensation is competitive and based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Full-time availability required
• Previous serving experience required
• Leadership or shift management experience required
• Comfortable handling cash and basic operational responsibilities
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment

Hours of Operation

• Closed Sundays
• Monday–Thursday: 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM
• Friday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM

(Shifts will fall within these hours.)
