Front of house Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced customer focused cafe supervisor / manager to lead our team in Albany, North shore Auckland

The position is full-time, with no nights. We are offering you an opportunity to be part of a team and culture, serving great coffee and food.

As Supervisor / Cafe Manager, your duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Working a 5 day week on a 7 day roster (Weekend work is required)

• Developing and managing a team of passionate baristas and floor staff

• Opening and closing of the café

• Stock control and waste management

• Role model the organisational values

• Develop and/or implement business improvement initiatives / innovation

To join our team in this role you must meet the following criteria:

• 2 years of management experience in a fast paced hospitality environment

• Passion for delivering high quality customer service

• Proven success in improving café performance

• Proven success in improving team capability

• Lead by example: strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Able to learn and adapt quickly to new ways of working

• Excellent communication and team building skills

• Understanding of food safety requirements

• Experience in coffee making is essential

• NZ Resident
