What they need

About Us:

Stillwell Management Consultants (SMC) is a leading Australian human resource consulting firm specialising in Executive Recruitment, Organisational Psychology, Management Consulting and Organisational Development.

We partner with a diverse national client base across both private and public sectors, from agile small businesses to some of the world’s largest organisations, and pride ourselves on providing a superior and tailored service to achieve outstanding outcomes for our clients' organisations.

About the role:

Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has become available for an energetic, highly organised and positive Front Office Administrator to join our organisation.

Working in the main office space you will work collaboratively with our Recruitment Consultants, Registered Psychologists and administrative team and play a central role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the business while contributing to a professional and welcoming client experience.

In this varied and integral role, you will:

  • Provide a warm, professional and engaging first point of contact for all visitors
  • Meet and greet clients, candidates and service providers
  • Manage incoming calls and enquiries via the Microsoft Teams phone system
  • Coordinate electronic communications with clients and candidates
  • Manage diaries and coordinate both in-person and virtual meetings
  • Prepare documents, correspondence and professional reports
  • Assist with the administration of psychological assessments
  • Support the coordination and preparation of team events and client functions

This role is critical to ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for both clients and candidates, while supporting the delivery of consistent, professional outcomes across the business.

You:

This is an outstanding opportunity for a recent university graduate (or equivalent) seeking their first office-based role, a school leaver keen to commence a career in a professional environment, or an individual with some experience in a similar role looking to develop further within a high-quality consulting firm.

You will bring:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism
  • A customer-focussed mindset with a genuine desire to provide exceptional service
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your work
  • A flexible, proactive approach with the willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Strong organisational skills, self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • An outgoing, energetic and collaborative approach, and alignment with our team-based, high-performance culture

Availability to work Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm is preferred, however, we are open to considering applicants with study or other commitments requiring some flexibility.

Comprehensive training will be provided, along with ongoing support, mentoring from a highly experienced and supportive team, as well as opportunities for career progression and development.

Why us?

This role offers the opportunity to begin, or further develop, your career within a values-driven consulting environment, working alongside a team of experienced professionals who are committed to delivering meaningful outcomes for clients and candidates alike.

You will gain exposure to a professional services environment that is intellectually engaging, relationship focussed and genuinely impactful, providing a strong foundation for ongoing career development.

We offer a modern, well-resourced workplace in contemporary offices in the heart of the Adelaide CBD, supported by the latest technology and a strong commitment to service excellence, integrity and teamwork. You will benefit from meaningful responsibility and autonomy, a competitive remuneration package and flexible working arrangements.
