Primary focus

Application delivery coordination, lower-level environment management, testing, requirements documentation, and change implementation support

Responsibilities

Support assigned Taiwan Cash Equities and Futures & Options applications, related interfaces, and lower-level environments.

Coordinate with internal technology teams and external vendors on assigned technical activities, dependencies, defects, delivery actions, and target dates.

Configure and maintain lower-level environments used for development, testing, and change validation.

Prepare and execute test scenarios, record results, track defects, and support validation before production implementation.

Assist with requirements analysis and document business, exchange, regulatory, and technical requirements for assigned changes.

Support releases and implementation activities in accordance with established change management and approval processes.

Support continuity testing, access reviews, risk-remediation activities, audit evidence, and regulatory evidence preparation as assigned.

Identify practical opportunities to improve automation, reliability, maintainability, and delivery efficiency, and implement approved improvements.

Scope and Escalation Boundaries

• The resource is an execution-focused contributor and is not expected to own overall application strategy, architecture, or technology roadmap.
• Final technical design, production deployment, release approval, risk acceptance, regulatory interpretation, and business prioritization remain with authorized internal owners.
• The resource will coordinate with vendors for assigned delivery activities but will not own vendor commercial management or overall vendor performance.
• The resource does not replace established first-line production support or 24x7 operational coverage unless separately agreed.
• Work outside the assigned application scope or agreed priorities must be raised with the designated application owner before proceeding.

Required Skills and Experience

• Approximately five years of relevant experience in application support, development, or technical delivery, preferably within financial services.
• Experience coordinating technical activities across internal teams and external vendors, including dependencies, defects, testing, and delivery actions.
• Programming or scripting capability in Java, C#, Python, shell scripting, or comparable technology.
• Experience using lower-level environments for development, testing, and change validation.
• Working knowledge of the software-development lifecycle, testing, release management, monitoring, resilience, and production-support practices.
• Ability to understand requirements, document outcomes clearly, follow established processes, and deliver assigned tasks with appropriate escalation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience in support of electronic-trading, Cash Equities, Futures & Options, market-data, or order-management applications.
• Exposure to Taiwan for exchanges, exchange-mandated changes, or related regulatory requirements.
• Experience with FIX protocol, real-time messaging, Linux or Unix environments, and high-availability applications.
• Experience with application automation, delivery tooling, or engineering efficiency improvements.
• Familiarity with approved AI-assisted development tools used to improve engineering productivity.
