About the role
A full time front office assistant position in a hotel located in Batu Feringghi, Penang.
Key responsibilities
- Obtains briefing from previous shift on outstanding matters requiring further attention
- Performs check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring guests' satisfaction
- Acknowledges and welcomes guests as soon as guest approaches the desk
- Assists guests in completing registration form, reviewing entries to ensure important details are included
- Coordinates with Concierge staff to bring guests to the room
- Performs cashiering functions efficiently, ensuring guests' satisfaction
- Takes room reservation at the counter or on the telephone
- Works closely with the Housekeeping Dept. and informs them of early check-ins or late check-outs
- Maintains cleanliness of the front office at all times
- Carries out any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor
About you
- A minimum of SPM certificate, Diploma in Hospitality Management or Equivalent
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in related role
