Job Summary

The Front Office Associate is the first point of contact for our guests and plays a key role in creating a positive guest experience. The ideal candidate will handle guest check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations, respond to guest inquiries, and ensure efficient front desk operations while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude.
• Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
• Handle room reservations, modifications, and cancellations.
• Verify guest information and process payments accurately.
• Answer telephone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure room availability and readiness.
• Liaise with Engineering and other departments to resolve guest requests and maintenance issues.
• Handle guest complaints courteously and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate guest records using the hotel's Property Management System (PMS).
• Prepare daily reports, cash reconciliation, and shift handover documentation.
• Ensure the front desk and lobby are clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Follow hotel policies, SOPs, and safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Freshers with relevant hospitality education are welcome to apply.

Skills Required

• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi and Kannada is an advantage.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant personality with professional grooming standards.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with hotel PMS software.
• Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
