Front Office Associate

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly on arrival
• Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
• Verify guest details, IDs, and reservations
• Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local areas
• Manage room bookings through system/phone/email
• Update reservation details accurately
• Coordinate with housekeeping for room availability
• Handle guest queries, complaints, and requests politely
• Ensure quick resolution or escalate to senior staff
• Maintain a professional and friendly attitude at all times
• Prepare guest bills and ensure accuracy
• Handle cash, card, and online payments
• Maintain proper records of transactions
• Work closely with housekeeping, security, and F&B departments
• Ensure smooth communication between departments
• Maintain front desk records and reports
• Keep reception area clean and organized
• Follow hotel policies and SOPs
• Good communication skills (English + Hindi is a plus)
• Basic computer knowledge (PMS, MS Office)
• Customer service attitude
• Problem-solving skills
• Professional appearance and behavior

Qualifications

• Minimum: 12th pass / Graduate preferred
• Experience: 2 years in hotel or hospitality industry
