About the role

Zen Ent Sdn Bhd is seeking a Front Office professional to join our team in Puchong, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in creating exceptional guest experiences from the moment visitors arrive at our property. As the frontline representative of our hospitality services, you will be instrumental in setting the tone for guest satisfaction and ensuring smooth operations throughout their stay. This role is central to our commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting guests upon arrival and departure with a warm, professional demeanour and providing check-in and check-out services efficiently
• Managing guest accounts, processing payments, and handling billing inquiries with accuracy and attention to detail
• Responding to guest requests and concerns promptly, resolving issues effectively whilst maintaining composure and professionalism
• Maintaining accurate records of guest information and preferences in the property management system
• Coordinating with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage) to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services available to guests
• Managing telephone communications, taking messages, and directing calls appropriately
• Assisting with reservations, modifications, and cancellations in accordance with hotel policies
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming front desk environment
• Contributing to achieving occupancy targets and revenue goals through upselling of services and facilities

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a front office, reception or guest services role within the hospitality industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse guests and colleagues
• Proficiency in using property management systems and hotel software platforms
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail when managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are highly desirable
• A professional appearance and demeanour with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
