About the role

One of our resort in Sepilok, Sandakan is seeking a full-time Front Office professional to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service throughout their stay.

What you'll be doing

1. Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process
2. Responding to guest inquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner
3. Assisting with reservations, room assignments, and maintaining accurate guest records
4. Providing information about the hotel's facilities, local attractions, and transportation options
5. Handling cash and credit card transactions, and balancing daily reports
6. Coordinating with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met
7. Maintaining a high level of customer service and a positive, friendly attitude at all times

What we're looking for

1. At least 1 year of experience in a front office or customer service role in the hospitality industry
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds
3. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure
4. Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to speak additional languages an advantage
5. Familiarity with hotel reservation systems and guest management software
6. A positive, customer-focused attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service
