Front Office Executive

About the role

Swiss-Garden International Hotels, Resorts & Inns is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Front Office Executive to join our team at our prestigious property in Genting Highlands, Pahang. This is a full-time position based on-site at our resort, where you will serve as a key member of our front office team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences from the moment they arrive. As a Front Office Executive, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for creating memorable first impressions and providing outstanding service that reflects the Swiss-Garden brand's commitment to excellence in hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting guests upon arrival and departure with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
• Processing guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently whilst maintaining accuracy in all administrative procedures
• Managing room reservations, amendments and cancellations using the property management system
• Addressing guest inquiries and resolving concerns promptly and courteously to ensure guest satisfaction
• Handling payment transactions securely and accurately, including cash, card and other payment methods
• Providing information about hotel facilities, local attractions, dining options and services available to guests
• Coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled
• Managing the reception desk, maintaining a neat and organised workspace
• Assisting with telephone calls, emails and general administrative tasks
• Maintaining confidentiality and security protocols, including data protection and access control
• Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues during peak periods

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a front office or guest-facing role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
• Excellent communication skills in English, with additional languages being an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Proficiency with hotel property management systems and standard computer applications
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly during peak check-in and check-out times
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Professional appearance and demeanour befitting a luxury hospitality brand
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Problem-solving abilities and a positive, can-do attitude
• Relevant hospitality qualifications or certifications such as Front Office Management or Hotel Operations are preferred
