Front Office Supervisor

About the role

As Front Office Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of Front Office at The Lodge Wadjemup on Rottnest Island. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will support the team, oversee shifts and ensure guests receive a warm, professional and seamless experience from arrival through to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily Front Office operations and support the team throughout each shift
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional guest service
• Assist with guest arrivals, departures, enquiries and reservations
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
• Support the training, development and onboarding of Front Office team members
• Ensure accurate completion of daily Front Office procedures, handovers and reporting
• Monitor room status, guest requests and operational priorities
• Work closely with Housekeeping, Reservations, Maintenance and other hotel departments
• Support the Front Office Manager with rostering, team performance and operational requirements
• Ensure hotel policies, procedures and service standards are consistently maintained

About you

• Previous Front Office experience within a hotel, resort or similar hospitality environment
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience, or be ready to take the next step in your career
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Confidence handling guest concerns and making decisions during busy periods
• Experience using a hotel PMS; Mews experience would be highly regarded
• A positive, solutions-focused approach
• The ability to work across a flexible roster including weekends and public holidays
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
