Job Summary:

• Assure patient registration is accurate and complete
• Answer telephone calls
• Completes clerical duties as required
• Maintains filing of records
• Assists with surgical scheduling role
• Works closely with the internal billing team
• Assembly of patient charts
• Coverage of the medical records role including analysis and categorizing of previous day case records, input OR reports and OR time records, uploading and tagging records for pathology reports/physician signatures, upload coding sheets, demographic information and insurance information

Qualifications and Skills:

• Secretarial and chart assembly experience
• Medical Terminology
• Patient/surgical scheduling
• Experience with or knowledge regarding insurances preferred
