Front Store Supervisor/ Pharmacy Technician

Duties

• Supervise daily pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, inventory management, and patient interactions
• Assist pharmacists with clinical tasks such as medication preparation, IV infusion, and sterile IV admixture procedures
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulation guidelines, and pharmaceutical regulatory standards
• Perform accurate data entry into pharmacy software systems while maintaining patient confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive information
• Conduct pharmaceutical calculations for medication dosages and compounding medications with precision
• Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, processing prescriptions, and supporting medication administration efforts
• Oversee pharmacy staff scheduling, training on aseptic technique and sterile compounding procedures, and performance evaluations

Experience

• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role within community or hospital pharmacy settings
• Demonstrated knowledge of LTC (Long-Term Care), critical care, and acute care pharmacy environments
• Hands-on experience with hospital pharmacy operations, IV infusion preparation, and sterile compounding techniques
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and inventory control
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, pharmacological medical terminology, and drug regulation policies
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent healthcare certification preferred
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a pharmacy setting is highly advantageous

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
