Frontend Developer

Role Summary

Front End Developer to support client s Position Reporting application within the Commodity Trading team. The candidate will work alongside a backend built on IntelliJ (data engineering team) and will need to interface with an existing Tableau front end alongside the new React/Angular build.

Experience Level: 5-6 years overall experience (hard cap - do not submit profiles significantly above or below this band).

Must-Have Technical Skills

• React AND Angular - candidate must be proficient in both, not just one. This is non-negotiable; single-framework candidates should not be submitted.
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals.
• Strong HTML/CSS.
• API integration experience (explicitly called out as a plus, but treat as expected given the role).
• Experience with routing frameworks (e.g., React Router, Angular Router).
• React hooks and Angular lifecycle methods.
• Testing frameworks - Jest, Jasmine or equivalent (unit + integration testing).
• Awareness of secure coding practices / application security best practices.

Nice-to-Have / Differentiator

• Demonstrated use of AI tools in development workflow - Client is specifically looking for candidates who use AI tools with their own judgment (not blind reliance), so be ready to probe this in initial screening.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Good communication skills - candidate will collaborate directly with designers, backend developers, and QA teams.

Logistics

• Work model: Hybrid - 2 days/week from office.
• Office days: Tuesday and Wednesday (fixed, not flexible).
• Shift timing: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
