Frontend Developer

Role Description This part-time remote Frontend Developer role at Fundación Con Vida focuses on building and maintaining user-facing features for web applications that support the organization’s mission. The Frontend Developer will implement responsive interfaces, optimize performance, and ensure accessibility across devices and browsers. Day-to-day tasks include translating design mockups into clean, maintainable code, integrating frontend components with back-end services, and collaborating with designers, product stakeholders, and other developers. The role also involves reviewing and refactoring existing code, troubleshooting issues, and contributing ideas to improve user experience and technical quality. Documentation of features and participation in code reviews are expected to maintain consistent standards and project clarity.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design to build accessible, user-centric interfaces.
• Experience in Web Development and Software Development for creating reliable, maintainable web applications.
• Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts to collaborate effectively on API integration and data workflows.
• Proficiency with modern frontend technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and at least one framework such as React, Vue, or Angular).
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with diverse teams.
• Experience with accessibility standards, performance optimization, and cross-browser testing is preferred.
• Relevant education or equivalent practical experience in computer science, software engineering, or related fields is beneficial.
