Job Title: Frontend Developer (Next.js)

Salary: N700,000 - N 1,200,000

Work mode: Remote (Contract)

We are seeking a talented and detail oriented Frontend Developer to join our client’s growing team. You will play a key role in crafting responsive, scalable, and high- performance web applications using modern React (with Hooks and functional components). This role involves close collaboration with designers, backend developers, and product stakeholders to build pixel-perfect UIs and seamless user experiences

Responsibilities

· Develop user-facing features using Next.js, React.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

· Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

· Translate high-fidelity designs and wireframes into responsive, accessible, and performant UI.

· Work closely with product and design teams to implement new features and optimize existing ones.

· Integrate with backend APIs and work with data from RESTful services or GraphQL endpoints.

· Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

· Participate in code reviews and uphold best practices in frontend architecture.

· Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.

· Maintain up-to-date documentation and contribute to UI testing (unit/integration).

Requirement

· 3+ years core experience in frontend development with a strong focus on Next.js.

· Proficient with JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

· Deep understanding of state management tools (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Context API).

· Familiarity with CSS-in-JS libraries like Styled Components, Emotion, or utility- first frameworks like Tailwind CSS.

· Experience integrating REST APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints.

· Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.

· Proficient with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD workflows.
