Frontend Developer - Vue and Nuxt

Role Overview

We are looking for a strong Senior Web Stack Engineer with hands-on experience in Vue, Nuxt, TypeScript, SCSS, and headless frontend development.

The role involves delivering high-quality, performant, accessible, secure, and scalable frontend solutions across diverse headless architectures. You will work with distributed teams across the Philippines and Denmark, so strong communication, collaboration, and ownership are important for this role.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex frontend features and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Develop and optimize performant, scalable, headless frontend applications using modern frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, backend engineers, project managers, design, and UX teams.
• Ensure accessibility, security, and SEO best practices are embedded in development workflows.
• Apply performance optimization techniques across frontend applications.
• Mentor developers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing within the team.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, and documentation efficiency.
• Identify and drive improvements across development, testing, and release processes.
• Understand client requirements and business context to recommend effective technical solutions.
• Work independently while maintaining a holistic view of the project and delivery goals.
• Collaborate effectively with distributed and cross-cultural teams and manage asynchronous communication.
• Stay updated with modern frontend technologies and continuously improve development practices.

Must Have

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Vue and Nuxt.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and SCSS.
• Hands-on experience with headless development principles and architectures.
• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization.
• Experience implementing accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
• Understanding of web security best practices (OWASP).
• Experience with SEO optimization techniques.
• Experience with automated testing and modern frontend tooling.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Experience working with distributed and cross-cultural teams.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned deliverables.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding/development tools.
• Strong focus on code quality, performance, usability, and maintainability.

Good to Have

• Experience with Storybook or similar component libraries.
• Experience integrating with Umbraco Content API.
• Experience integrating with SAP products.
• Experience working across multiple headless architectures.
• Experience mentoring developers and contributing to technical knowledge sharing.
