About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager – Frontend to lead multiple

engineering squads responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance

customer-facing digital platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong frontend

architecture expertise, modern web development practices, and proven people leadership

capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute frontend engineering strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Drive frontend modernization initiatives and technology roadmaps.
• Own end-to-end delivery of frontend initiatives across multiple squads.
• Lead, mentor, and develop frontend engineering teams.
• Review and approve High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
• Ensure adoption of reusable component libraries and enterprise design systems.
• Drive frontend performance optimization, accessibility, security, and observability

standards.

• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews for critical

production issues.

• Partner with Product, Design, QA, Backend, Business, and Operations teams.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of frontend engineering experience.
• 2–5 years of people management experience leading engineering teams and driving

delivery across multiple projects.

• Proven experience delivering large-scale FinTech, Banking, Payments, Lending, or NBFC

platforms.

• Strong expertise in Angular, React, and modern frontend architectures.
• Experience working within regulated financial environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building customer-facing lending or banking applications.
• Exposure to RBI/NHB regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading frontend modernization or migration programs.
• Experience implementing enterprise design systems.
• MBA or Postgraduate degree is an advantage.

Good to Have

• Experience with Micro Frontend Architecture
