Frontend Software Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a passionate Frontend Software Engineer with a strong foundation in React and a keen eye for UI/UX design. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build and maintain engaging, high-quality user interfaces. You will translate design concepts into fully functional and user-friendly applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and optimal user experience.

Develop and Maintain Frontend Applications:

• Implement web application features using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Integrate REST or GraphQL APIs to connect the frontend with backend services.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:

• Work closely with designers to turn mockups and wireframes into functional, responsive UI.
• Coordinate with backend engineers to ensure smooth data flow and optimal application performance.

UI/UX Focus:

• Leverage your UI/UX background to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
• Conduct user research or gather user feedback to continuously refine the user experience.
• Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines, design principles, and accessibility standards.

Code Quality and Best Practices:

• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following industry standards.
• Employ testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) to ensure application reliability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge with the team.

Performance Optimization:

• Monitor and optimize web application performance, including rendering times and memory usage.

• Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions for a seamless user experience.
  Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies and best practices.

• Recommend tools, libraries, or methodologies to enhance the development process.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• 2+ years of professional experience in frontend development (React emphasis preferred).

• Proficient in React (Hooks, state management libraries, component-driven architecture).

• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.

• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and experience with tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

• Experience using version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other data exchange protocols is a plus.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Attention to detail and passion for delivering outstanding user experiences.

• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with design systems or component libraries (e.g., AntDesign or custom frameworks).
• Familiarity with server-side rendering (Next.js) for improved SEO and performance.
• Basic knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, Express) to assist with full-stack development when needed.
• Previous experience in A/B testing and data-driven design.
