Work Schedule

• Friday: 2:00 PM – Close
• Saturday: 2:00 PM – Close
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – Close

Applicants must be available to work all three days. This is a very part-time position and is ideal for someone looking for additional income or a consistent weekend schedule.

Job Description

Rivers Run Catfish & Seafood House is a busy, family-owned restaurant looking for a dependable, hardworking Fry Cook to join our kitchen team!

While previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right person! What matters most to us is a positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

We operate in a fast-paced environment where teamwork is essential. We’re looking for someone who understands that working in a restaurant means helping each other succeed, not just focusing on your own assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and fry food according to restaurant standards
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and proper cooking times
• Keep fry stations clean, stocked, and organized
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Communicate clearly and effectively with kitchen staff and management
• Assist with food preparation, cleaning, and other kitchen duties as needed
• Step in and help coworkers in other areas when they are falling behind
• Work efficiently during busy restaurant service

Requirements

• Must be dependable, punctual, and reliable
• Must be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the listed hours
• Must communicate effectively with coworkers and management
• Must work well with others and maintain a team-first attitude
• Must be willing to help wherever needed, even outside assigned responsibilities
• Must be able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous cooking experience is a plus, but not required
• Must have a willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback

Pay & Growth Opportunities

Starting pay is $9.00 per hour.
