Crazy About You is seeking a dependable and energetic Fry Cook to join its kitchen team in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will help prepare high-quality fried foods and other menu items while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and consistency. This position is suited for someone who works well in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen, follows instructions carefully, and takes pride in serving delicious food to guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fried foods according to recipes and restaurant standards.
• Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor cooking times and food temperatures to ensure quality and consistency.
• Prepare ingredients and organize the workstation before service.
• Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation procedures.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards.
• Keep the fryer station, counters, utensils, and surrounding areas clean.
• Coordinate with chefs and other kitchen team members during busy service periods.
• Replenish ingredients and communicate supply needs to the kitchen supervisor.
• Assist with general kitchen duties and closing procedures as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Fry Cook, Line Cook, or Kitchen Cook is preferred.
• Knowledge of fryer operation and basic food preparation techniques.
• Understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and consistent food preparation habits.
• Reliable attendance, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when necessary.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
