Fry/Dishwasher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fry cook/dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, food safety, and supporting a high-quality dining experience. Prior experience in food handling or the food industry is a plus but not necessary

Duties

• Cooking food in the fryer to the proper temperature and serving on the buffet in a timely manner
• May be asked to work as dishwasher every so often
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas and ensure all items are stored properly after cleaning
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including handling ingredients and supporting meal assembly
• Support kitchen staff with food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Organize and manage dishware inventory to ensure availability during service hours
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Support catering or special event setups by providing clean dishware and utensils as required

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service is a plus but not necessary
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• A positive attitude and willingness to support team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
