Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fryer to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Fryer, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all fried items are cooked to perfection and meet our high standards of quality. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook various fried foods according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food safety guidelines are strictly followed during food preparation and cooking processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the fryer station, including regular cleaning of equipment.
• Help with stock management, including ordering supplies and notifying management when stock is low.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Fish & Chip takeaway setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.80-£13.65 per hour
