Fryer

We're looking for an experienced, hardworking chef helper/fryer to join our friendly team at our busy shop. This is a hands-on kitchen role in a fast-paced environment, so we need someone who already knows their way around a fryer and can step up a gear when it gets busy.

Hours: Part-time, 10–20 hours per week, evenings and weekends. Usual shift will be between 4 - 10pm

Pay: From £12.80 per hour (ages 21+), open to negotiation depending on experience. Under-21s aged 18–20 are paid above National Minimum Wage at £11.10 per hour. There's always an opportunity for a pay rise as you become more experienced and confident in the role.

What you'll be doing:

• Frying and cooking food to a consistently high standard
• Preparing and prepping ingredients ready for service
• Keeping up with orders quickly and accurately during busy periods
• Maintaining the fryers and keeping your station clean and organised
• Following food hygiene and health & safety rules at all times
• Helping with stock, deliveries and general kitchen upkeep

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar kitchen or fryer role is essential
• Confident and safe working the fryers under pressure
• Fast, efficient and able to multitask through a busy service
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and health & safety
• A positive, can-do attitude and excellent teamwork
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
