Fairfield Inn & Suites Minneapolis North is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Full-Time Night Auditor to join our hotel team. The Night Auditor is responsible for providing excellent guest service while overseeing hotel operations during the overnight shift and completing the daily night audit.

Position Details

• Position: Full-Time Night Auditor
• Shift: Overnight / Night Audit
• Schedule: Typically 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Location: Brooklyn Center, MN
• Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service throughout the overnight shift
• Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently
• Handle guest questions, requests, and concerns
• Complete the nightly audit and ensure all daily financial transactions are accurate
• Balance and reconcile hotel accounts, payments, and reports
• Process reservations and assist with modifications or cancellations
• Monitor the hotel and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment overnight
• Perform regular property walks and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Prepare and distribute overnight reports for management
• Assist with breakfast preparation and other early-morning hotel tasks as needed
• Follow all hotel and Marriott brand policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records and protect guest information

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, front desk, or night audit experience preferred
• Hospitality or customer service experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
• Comfortable working independently during overnight hours
• Ability to handle guest situations professionally and calmly
• Basic computer skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as part of the overnight schedule
