Fuel Analyst

Qualifications:

• Four (4) year graduate of Engineering or Statistics, or any related course.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem solving skills.

Duties:

1. Fuel Monitoring, Analysis and Documentation

●  Collect fuel consumption data from all vessels on a daily, per voyage, and monthly basis using the software application.

●  Analyze fuel consumption performance per vessel, per voyage, and per month, including comparisons against historical trends and operational benchmarks.

●  Prepare and submit periodic fuel consumption reports and analytical summaries to management, highlighting fuel efficiency, consumption patterns, and any unusual variances.

●  Identify, analyze, and report any abnormal fuel consumption, sudden drops, or inconsistencies per tank.

2. Data Validation & Verification

● Consolidate and maintain accurate fuel consumption records from electronic fuel monitoring systems, noon reports, sounding reports, and other relevant sources.

● Compare system data versus actual measurements and document findings.

3. Investigation Support

● Assist in fact-finding investigations related to fuel discrepancies.

● Contribute to joint investigation reports with relevant departments.
