Fuel Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating Class B cargo tanker fuel delivery trucks. The candidate will need to hold a up to date Haz-mat license endorsement as well as a current medical card.

Duties

• Operate Class B Cargo tanker fuel delivery trucks.
• Operate both a manual shift transmission as well as a automatic shift transmission.
• Safely load and unload freight as required.
• Safely deliver fuel to residential and commercial fuel tanks.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow all traffic regulations and company policies while driving.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Assist in the maintenance of the truck by performing routine checks and reporting any mechanical issues.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in truck driving and fuel delivery.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong understanding of freight handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy.

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
