Fuel Delivery Driver

Duties

• Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver fuel and hazardous materials across designated routes.
• Load and unload freight using proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo integrity and safety compliance.
• Navigate efficiently to follow driving routes, optimizing delivery schedules.
• Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations during transportation and delivery processes.
• Handle logistics cargo with precision, including loading, securing, and unloading dangerous goods such as hazardous materials.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and compliance documentation in line with safety standards.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure trucks are in optimal condition for safe operation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivery driving or truck driving, preferably with freight involving hazardous materials (fuel oil, diesel fuel, propane).
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for Hazmat and tanker operations.
• Familiarity with truck loading/unloading procedures, manual handling techniques, and logistics cargo handling.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for dangerous goods transport.
• Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tanker trucks is highly desirable.
• Ability to navigate using GPS navigation systems accurately while managing route driving responsibilities.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission trucks is preferred.
• Physically capable of manual handling tasks associated with load & unload activities; able to lift heavy objects safely.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
