Tank Specialists of California tests, maintains and services underground and aboveground fuel systems for fueling stations, fleet yards, emergency generators and critical facilities across the state. We're based in Temecula and known for doing technical, compliance-heavy work right the first time.

We're hiring a full-time Fuel System Testing & Maintenance Technician. If you hold your ICC Service Technician certification and like running your own day in the field, this is a long-term job with a take-home truck and a team behind you.

What you'll do

• Perform monitoring system certifications
• Conduct SB 989 secondary containment testing
• Perform fuel filtration and fuel polishing
• Handle fuel system maintenance and service work
• Do all other duties involved in testing and maintaining fuel systems
• Communicate clearly with our office, clients and inspectors
• Travel to out-of-town jobs within California as needed

What you bring

• ICC Service Technician certification (required)
• 2+ years of fuel system testing experience (required)
• Veeder-Root Level 2/3 certification preferred
• Ability to work on your own with minimal supervision while being a strong team player
• Strong organizational skills and comfort in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding communication skills
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record (required for the take-home truck)
• Willingness to work out of town within California
• High school diploma or GED
• Must currently live in Southern California
