What they need
- Operates large tank vehicles: Transports hazardous chemicals, fuel, industrial gases, or food-grade products like milk.
- Manages loading and unloading: Connects heavy-duty hoses, operates valves and pumps, and monitors fluid levels to prevent spills.
- Performs safety inspections: Conducts pre-trip and post-trip checks on the truck, tank integrity, and safety equipment.
- Maintains strict logs: Keeps accurate records of delivery documentation, mileage, hours of service, and hazardous material compliance.
Requires a valid commercial license with appropriate heavy-vehicle or professional restriction codes (such as restrictions , in the Philippines, or a Class A CDL with tanker/hazmat endorsements in other regions).
