Our firm is focused on developing and managing our multi-family and commercial real estate portfolio in the Pacific Northwest. We are looking to hire a Full Charge Bookkeeper to assist the Controller by taking responsibility for day-to-day financial functions, maintaining accounting controls/procedures/organization and producing reports. Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day accounting, finance and reporting functions, including AP, AR, GL, payroll, job costing and financial statement preparation
• Assist in implementing internal controls and procedures to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
• Manage and maintain the organization of accounting/business records
• Coordinate with business partners and third-party vendors

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Experience in construction or related accounting field is necessary
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (i.e. balance sheet, income statement and journal entries). Project-based accounting and cost tracking preferred.
• Experience implementing and maintaining accounting controls and procedures
• Experience with multi-entity and intercompany accounting transactions and reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and/or industry-specific platforms)
• Strong communication, organization and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail, positive attitude and a desire to learn

Pay: $31.25 - $38.46 per hour
