Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Overview

As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you’ll manage day-to-day accounting from transaction entry through account reconciliation and financial reporting. You’ll keep records accurate, handle sensitive information with care, and support clear, timely financial decisions. This role suits someone who brings strong bookkeeping fundamentals, sound numeracy, and confidence working across accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Record journal entries, debits and credits, and double-entry bookkeeping transactions; maintain the general ledger and supporting records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, account follow-up, and customer service.
• Reconcile bank, balance sheet, and other accounts; investigate variances and perform account analysis.
• Support budgeting, credit analysis, and Excel data analysis; prepare accurate reports and complete data entry.

Experience

• Required: Bookkeeping or accounting and finance experience; knowledge of accounting, financial concepts, math, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Required: Experience with accounting software or financial software, accounting systems, accounts payable, accounts receivable management, account reconciliation, and confidential information handling; accurate 10-key typing is valued.
• Preferred: Familiarity with QuickBooks, CRM Systems, ADP, Keeper. Microsoft Exchange
• Preferred: Exposure to corporate, public, nonprofit, and technical accounting.

Pay: $24.04 - $25.54 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
