Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Overview

As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you’ll manage day-to-day accounting from transaction entry through account reconciliation and financial reporting. You’ll keep records accurate, protect confidential information, and help the organization make informed financial decisions. This role suits someone with accounting and finance experience, strong numeracy, and confidence using accounting systems and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Record journal entries, debits and credits, maintain the general ledger and supporting records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, customer service, receivables management, and data entry.
• Reconcile bank, balance sheet, and general ledger accounts; investigate discrepancies and perform account analysis.
• Support budgeting, credit analysis, and financial reporting while applying relevant accounting principles and procedures.

Skills

• Essential: Bookkeeping, accounting, accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliation, general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, financial concepts, math, and confidential information handling.
• Essential: Proficiency with accounting software, financial software, Microsoft Office, Excel data analysis, spreadsheets, and 10-key typing.
• Preferred: Familiarity with QuickBooks, Paychex, ADP
• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley), corporate, governmental, technical, or public accounting is a plus.

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
