Full or Part Time Associate Teacher Toddler Program

Full job description

The Harrisville Children's Center is seeking an associate teacher in our toddler program. This could be a part-time or full-time position. If part-time, schedule would be Monday through Friday from 12:45-5:30. If full-time is desired, some mornings would be added to get hours up to a minimum of 32/week, which we consider full-time employment. If mornings are added, the exact days/hours in the morning may vary week to week.

The Harrisville Children's Center is a play-based/nature-based program for children ages 6 weeks - 6 years old. Children are outside large parts of every day, whatever the weather. Applicants must LOVE the outdoors and be prepared to engage enthusicastically with the children in an outdoor setting.

The Harrisville Children's Center has a reputation in the Monadnock Region for providing the highest quality early childhood education, and our teachers are the backbone of our programs. You will be joining an experienced, educated, professional team of teachers who work kindly and collaboratively with one another. Over the past several years we had almost no staff turnover. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, including family emergencies and illnesses, we do have openings to fill. Please contact the director to learn more about this amazing little school.

We are located in the village of Harrisville, NH; approximately 4 miles from Route 101 in Dublin, NH, 6 miles from Route 9 in Nelson, NH, and about 12 miles from Keene, NH.

Qualifications

Applicants must have some college credits in early childhood education or a related field OR at least 1,000 hours experience and some professional development. If you are unsure whether or not you have the qualifications, reach out and we will let you know.

Pay: $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 23.0 – 35.0 per week
