A well-established Texas law firm is seeking talented Construction Defect Attorneys to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with construction defect, insurance defense, or civil litigation experience who are looking to take on meaningful cases, and grow their litigation practice. This opportunity offers the flexibility of working 100% remotely from anywhere in Texas , while handling sophisticated commercial construction defect matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and defend construction defect litigation matters involving general contractors, subcontractors, and other construction industry stakeholders.
• Conduct and defend depositions, attend hearings, and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Handle cases involving commercial properties, including schools, office buildings, condominiums, and select residential projects.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• Experience in construction defect litigation, insurance defense, or personal injury defense is preferred.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 – $180,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
