About the role

Icon Jco Puchong SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated Full Set Accounts professional to join our growing accounting team. This is a full-time position based in Puchong Jaya, Selangor, where you will take centre stage in managing comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting functions for our clients. As a Full Set Accounts specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining complete accounting records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations. This role is integral to delivering high-quality accounting services and supporting the financial health of our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Perform daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage invoicing, payments, receipts, and expense claims.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and other financial records.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in preparing cash flow reports.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Assist with monthly closing and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and relevant authorities when required.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial transactions.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience handling a full set of accounts is preferred.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
