Role Summary

We are looking for a Lead Engineer – Full Stack AI Developer to join our AI/GenAI engineering team and build enterprise-grade applications in a regulated medical-device environment.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Python, FastAPI, Angular, TypeScript, Microsoft Azure and Generative AI/LLM technologies. The candidate will be responsible for application development, technical design, architecture, deployment and maintenance of scalable cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack AI/GenAI applications.
• Develop modern frontend applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS/SCSS.
• Build scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, asynchronous services and streaming APIs.
• Work with Server-Sent Events (SSE) and real-time application capabilities.
• Design and manage application databases using PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Azure Cosmos DB.
• Integrate LLM and Generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Develop and consume AI-powered workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI or similar AI agent frameworks.
• Work with RAG, AI agents, vector search and enterprise AI solutions.
• Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure using IaaS and PaaS services.
• Work with Azure services such as App Service, Functions, Virtual Machines, Cosmos DB, Cognitive Services and Azure AI Search.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing and deployment.
• Perform application testing, debugging, performance optimization and production troubleshooting.
• Contribute to solution architecture, technical design and technology evaluation.
• Design solutions for scalability, availability, security and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot application, database, network, storage and deployment issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality, information security and data privacy requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, designers and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Work effectively within Agile / SAFe environments.

Mandatory Skills

• 8–12 years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience in Python
• Strong experience with FastAPI
• Strong experience with Angular
• Strong experience with TypeScript
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS/SCSS
• Strong experience in REST API development
